In Australia, the industrial activities are associated with significant amount of plastic waste. The study involves laboratory experiments to determine the efficiency of using recycled plastic waste in producing light weight concrete with high strength. This study ensures that use of recycled plastic aggregate as a partial replacement of natural aggregate in concrete gives a good approach to produce light weight concrete with high strength and reduce the plastic waste disposal problems to some extent.
